My Cinderella

The Mad Hatter crossed the room
So cross he had fire in his eyes
Alice and the White Rabbit looked on with awe in reprise

Back and forth back and forth he paced leaving stained and muddy footprints in his wake

The earth trembled in fear
It quivered and shaked

Alice was adorned with her Venus in Furs.
The room was a clatter, nothing seemed to matter, and with waking eyes, Ms Cinderella took the mantle to clean up his mess.

She was tired, but not as hungry as she should have been
late night dreams cascaded like ice cream

Cleaning the trail of the Hatter from the floor wasn’t a bore, but was symbolic of Ms Cinderella’s mindscape

“OFF WITH THEIR HEAD”
“OFF WITH THEIR HEAD”

The Red Queen’s orders still echoed in everyone’s ears

Quivering shivering
Everyone’s fear

Alice, White Rabbit, Cinderella started understanding the beat

The heavy tribal rhythm of emotional and mental chaos

Together the three, became one in purpose and mission

To smell the roses, To be FREE
To be All they can be!

In the corner, far away, a raven looked on in awe

The three, together, glowed like a holy Trinity, All for one and All!!!

He smiled at the beauty, as it was worth more than pain, he smiled at the sky because he too was insane!

Never before, had he seen such a sight, so wondrous, so beautiful he reveled in delight!

We aren’t there quite yet, the Rabbits giggled, but each day, I feel that we are closer than the day before……..

Sweet Cinderella, working away
With elbow grease and dreams of being Whole one day, had a sparkle in her eyes, and a few tears, not of pain but the beginning was near

And the Raven?

He wasn’t a fool

He knew he loved all three
Because that’s what friends do

He was alone but he smiled
Because he knew what was best
Set your Love free
And follow the rest

He knew that his own dreams
Were burned in a fire
But if she was happy
That was his desire…….

As you wish

He whispered
As you wish

For
That’s all he ever
Truly
wanted
