Skipping class, smoking in the time we were supposed to be on the clock in homeroom.

Talking Bowie, how “It Ain Easy” or that we had “Five Years” (what a surprise) and how “he thinks he’d Blow our minds……. We knew, yes we knew.

I learned a thing or two watching H.R. Pufinstuf… Shit I don’t think kids my age were supposed to know about, not yet at anyway.

Dragons and Gene Simmons spit Fire and Blood and teenage girls screamed in delight.

Best of all were the snow days off from school, when we would bunker down for a week at a time, and just get high watching the Millions Dollar Man and Wonder Woman.

Years later, Jim Morrison’s iconic calling led me to follow his path to HOLLYWOOD,Los Angeles California, as his words,”The West is the Best” echoes through my mind.

I was hooked. Fist with the Glitter/ Glamour of Sunset Boulevard… then retiring my self destructive self to the weather of Lincoln Heights.
