This was an experiment of taking Two types of poetry writing and blending them into a single piece. Firstly the poem has to be 100 words (exactly). Secondly it’s called a “breathing poem” and the point of this exercise is not using punctuation, no commas, no periods. Your reading mind creates the breaks.
I’ve Never undertaken such challenges and know so little about different forms of poetry other than the 5/7/5 syllable haiku…
This is Haven
In this world everything is more than possible Spectres dancing with the supernatural throughout the guilded night beneathe diamond haloed Strawberry moons circular rhythm spinning to ancient baroque song the echo of the vanity know not whom they are the chambers melodic rhapsody a living ball a waltz of fluid motion for undead souls silver goblets filled emptied refilled again in an unending celebration to those that harbour within the eternal night fresh Burgundy drawn from the source still warm from an offerings opened vein tops the guilded chalice and the company roars with delight Célébrer Les Bons Moments
